Well, it's easy to say, I'm just one of the guys. A loner in the world of materialistic girls, looking for a way out. I suppose I've been very lucky with all that I've had happen to me in my life.
But, things changed once I came to the wonderful/not so wonderful city of Muncie.
I've been with the best guy in the world for almost a glorious year of my life, while here. And I'm enjoying every moment of it. He's amazing.

Meeting Scot must have been fate because it's like my whole world turned upside down when I met him. We instantly clicked and that's nothing like I had ever felt with someone before.

We talked before he came over that night. A night I will never forget, because A) It was the night after a great country concert, one of my firsts, and it was Jo Dee Messina and B) I had just broken up with a jackass who didn't have a care in the world for me. And Scot walked into my life, or should I say clicked into my life, so quickly it was scary. Not scary in a bad way either. It was like one moment I was just sitting at the computer waiting around, being stupid and the next I was talking to this guy who had just come from my dorm complex because he was seeing a friend.

Now come to think about it, I went on a limb that night, but it was well worth it. I felt something the instant we began to talk. And I remember he made me call him to talk things through before he came over. It was like he couldn't believe that I was asking him to come over so quickly. But eventually he did, and we watched, or more or less talked, through The Butterfly Effect.

Now, after almost a year of pure bliss, I'm sitting in our apartment writing all this for you to read. It's amazing.

Scot grew up in a small/bigger town than I had come from, growing up not too far from his highschool Taylor in Kokomo, Indiana. His mom died when he was in highschool and he was practically raised by his uncle. His father really was never in the picture from the beginning.

Scot's a HUGE Pearl Jam fan, which has rubbed off on me, to say the least. And I'm glad we're so close. It's really helped me become a better person, and I believe I've changed for the better because of him.
